For over 25 years Marc Heroux has pursued professions which called for him to troubleshoot, resolve problems and add longevity.  Endless curiosity led to mentors who generously showed him the way. Field experience includes working in large hospitality properties, and maintenance of hotel and restaurant operations. For over a decade he owned the leading grease trap servicing company in Banff/ Canmore/Lake Louise, until selling and relocating to the Kootenays.

Marc’s attention to detail and reliability mean a legacy of successful commitments, whether involving minor plumbing and electrical works, grease trap/ interceptor installation, HVAC’s minor care, or everyday general maintenance of home and business works.

Marc’s hands-on and troubleshooting skills benefit from his ‘off-duty” passions. Fabricating and fixing all matter of things revolving around cycling, including e-bikes, bike trailers, world touring, canoeing.

Fun times were had collecting 55-gallon drums of used veggie oil from behind restaurants for a diesel truck he converted to run on the recycled biofuel. Exploring the solar power world Marc built an off-grid camper with two sides covered in solar panels, supplemented as well with some electricity generated by the woodstove chimney.

Foraging and wandering the wilds has Marc not wanting to trade this Earthly locale for any other, something he knows from roaming the Rockies, the Kootenays, Europe, Asia & Africa.
